Stuffed Mushrooms a la Capetown
Our South African friend, Caity, made us these delicious, simple appetizers. They can be cooked on the BBQ (or as South Africans say, “braai”) or at 400 degrees in the oven.
Large, brown mushroom caps
Crumbled blue cheese
Arrange the mushroom caps on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and then sprinkle each cap with generous portions of blue cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until bubbling or on the grill until the cheese has melted. Enjoy!
